Cops probe man’s butt after stop-sign violation

“It is absolutely unimaginable that this could happen in  America”

Not really, especially for someone who has been following the militarization of edict enforcement for any length of time at all. You New Mexicans may want to steer clear of the Lordsburg-Demming area.  — jtl, 419

What began as a routine traffic stop turned into a 14-hour probe of a New  Mexico man’s anal cavity and intestines by police and doctors.

David Eckert’s ordeal began innocently enough with a shopping trip to  Wal-Mart in Deming, N.M. on Jan. 2, 2013.

According to police, Eckert rolled through a stop sign while driving out of  the store’s parking lot. He was promptly pulled over and asked to step out of  his vehicle.

What happened next is documented in police reports, medical reports and a  federal lawsuit.

“They say when he stepped out of his car, he was standing in a manner that  looked as if he was clenching his buttocks,” Shannon Kennedy, Eckert’s attorney,  told KOB-TV.

Eckert’s butt-clenching, combined with the reaction of a drug-sniffing dog,  were apparently enough for police to conclude Eckert might be trying to hide  something illegal. So, they obtained a warrant to do an anal-cavity search.

For the next 14 hours, Eckert was subjected to X-rays, cavity searches,  several enemas and a colonoscopy at the hands of police and hospital  employees.

“It is absolutely unimaginable that this could happen in America,” Kennedy  told the TV station.

The first hospital declared the request “unethical” and refused to perform  any procedures.

However, Gila Regional Medical Center had no such concern, and promptly made  Eckert undergo several invasive procedures despite his protestations.

Eckert underwent an abdominal X-ray, which showed no drugs.

He then had two anal exams where doctors used their fingers. Once again, no  drugs were found.

Three enemas failed to produce any drug evidence.

A second X-ray found nothing, so Eckert was prepped for surgery and forced to  undergo a colonoscopy.

“This is like something out of a science-fiction film. Anal probing by  government officials and public employees?” exclaimed Kennedy, a civil-rights  attorney.

According to Kennedy, the warrant for the anal-cavity search was valid only  for Luna County, where Eckert was arrested, but not for Grant County, where the  Gila Regional Medical Center is located. The warrant had also expired by the  time the colonoscopy was performed.

“The thought that they could do this to a man in our country is terrifying.  Our community ought to be outraged.

“The public has a right to know about this so they can be aware when  traveling through that part of our state to be careful and to be on guard,”  added Kennedy.

Deming Police Chief Brandon Gigante refused to comment on the federal lawsuit  but told the TV station residents of the town have no reason to fear unwarranted  intrusions by police officers.

“We follow the law in every aspect and we follow policies and protocols that  we have in place,” said Gigante.

Eckert’s attorney says her client is now “terrified” after suffering so much  pain and humiliation.

And she reveals he’s still being victimized.

The medical center billed Eckert for all the medical procedures and has  threatened to pursue him if he doesn’t pay.

About Land & Livestock Interntional, Inc.

Land and Livestock International, Inc. is a leading agribusiness management firm providing a complete line of services to the range livestock industry. We believe that private property is the foundation of America. Private property and free markets go hand in hand—without property there is no freedom. We also believe that free markets, not government intervention, hold the key to natural resource conservation and environmental preservation. No government bureaucrat can (or will) understand and treat the land with as much respect as its owner. The bureaucrat simply does not have the same motives as does the owner of a capital interest in the property. Our specialty is the working livestock ranch simply because there are so many very good reasons for owning such a property. We provide educational, management and consulting services with a focus on ecologically and financially sustainable land management that will enhance natural processes (water and mineral cycles, energy flow and community dynamics) while enhancing profits and steadily building wealth.

Remember Mohammed Mana Ahmed al-Qahtani? At Guantanamo, he too was subjected to anal rape by enema. Remember the ‘Murican response? “Fuck him, he’s a goddam rag-head. It ain’t like they’re doing that shit to ‘Muricans.”

Well, they are doing it to ‘Muricans now. Are ya upset yet?

It is no coincidence that police departments are among the most eager to ‘hire the vet’. Formerly decent boys and girls, after appropriate desensitization by military training, make excellent state goons and come ready-made to brutalize the subject population and mindlessly ‘follow orders in a professional manner’.

Where are those ‘Guardians of the Republic’, the Loaf Beaters…errrr…”Oath Keepers”?

Pounding down another day-old convenience store wiener, padding their retirement, and extracting tribute for the ruling class via ticket quotas? If there was ONE decent cop in the entire state of New Mexico, he/she would join with like-minded (non-existent) ‘good cops’, posse up, and drag the responsible perverts out of their semen-stained beds to face a jury of their outraged peers. If the abduction and forced sodomy of a civilian does not rise to a level sufficient for the group to ‘stand down’…well…

    The ‘good officer’ response:

“We’ll (munch-munch) let this (munch-munch) proceed through (munch-munch) the internal affairs and police ethics system (pauses to brush powdered sugar from uniform blouse). Burrrrrrppp.”

    Where are the outraged doctors?

One physician had the conjones to face down the sadists. One physician, alone, said he would not become partners with Josef Mengele. Two more were just fine with the Purge and Grope-fest. Where is the AMA? Why hasn’t this group issued a position paper stating that the medical community will not be coerced and forced into becoming torturers for the state?

And, where is most of the the media?

Covering ‘Support the Troops’ raffles, on cop ride-alongs designed to show brave officers doing a job the average person would not do; facing moment-by-moment danger from truant ten year-olds, and ‘protecting the children from guns, gangs, (except blue-suited ones), and drugs (unless the drugs are given to make a forced colonoscopy possible)’.

If John Doe was forcibly abducted, raped, humiliated, and chemically rendered incapable to resist his sadistic, foreign tormenters, the skies of their homeland would be blackened by swarms of drones. Their cameras would pan over throngs of ‘Muricans chanting “USA!”

Ah…but it was a poor schlub in a backwater, fly-blown piss hole town. “He probably had it coming.”

    One final question:

Would Mr. Eckert’s treatment be ‘okay’ with you if drugs were found in his ass?

The scariest thing in America is the small town kops. I had a run in once 20+ years ago and have been leary ever since. They are power hungry inscure people that can’t get a job with big citys.

Here is the full text of Mr. Eckert’s complaint:

If one person would have just said, “Hey! This is so wrong. What the hell are we doing?”

Closer to (my) home, police entirely skipped butt-probing and went right to dealing with law-breakers via the Stazi “shot while trying to escape” paradigm. Then, faster than a bunny does dirty, prosecutors close the door on subsequent grand jury probes of a police shooting. Read about it here:

This is sick and the hospital is just as corrupted as the horney closet gay cop. The hospital should have charged the cop who asked for the warrant. The cop and the medical staff must face jail time.
