And that is exactly why there is a gun somewhere on my body (or within arms reach when I’m asleep) 24-7-365, even if all I am doing is lounging around the house. It is also why I ignore the “No Firearms Allowed” signs where ever I go. It is not paranoia. It is a healthy recognition that the world is not necessarily a universally friendly place.
