Greater Depression? Shocking Images Show Horror Of America’s New “Breadlines”

It has been rightly said that; if the American Economy is the 7th Wonder of the World, then American Economic Ignorance must be the 8th. The things being said and done about the “Mexican Beer Virus” is living proof of the truth of that statement.

An economy is a very complex creature. It can not be turned off and on at the whelm of a “manager.” As a mater of fact an economy can not be “managed.” It is simply too complex to track and account for the sum total of all the decisions made by the all the participants each and every day.

When the president’s “Give Away” program’s bubble bursts (and it will), you will just wish it was all Hell breaking loose instead of everything that goes along with poverty — illiteracy, crime, malnutrition, poor (or no) health care (including shortages of critical drugs), Kwashiorkor (a dietary protein deficiency), problems of physical and/or mental development in children, a high level of infant mortality etc, etc, etc.

There is a solution: As with any and all other things, get the government out of the business and let the virus run its course.

Spontaneity will furnish the cure. People are more likely to listen to and follow the recommendations of their family doctor than they are of some government burearat. Just knowing that there is no titty to suck will motivate people to take care of themselves and their families. Men will be men again and women will know it.

Projecting things as they are now into the long run, far more people will die from all those things that go along with poverty than will die from the virus. — jtl, 419

About Land & Livestock Interntional, Inc.

Land and Livestock International, Inc. is a leading agribusiness management firm providing a complete line of services to the range livestock industry. We believe that private property is the foundation of America. Private property and free markets go hand in hand—without property there is no freedom. We also believe that free markets, not government intervention, hold the key to natural resource conservation and environmental preservation. No government bureaucrat can (or will) understand and treat the land with as much respect as its owner. The bureaucrat simply does not have the same motives as does the owner of a capital interest in the property. Our specialty is the working livestock ranch simply because there are so many very good reasons for owning such a property. We provide educational, management and consulting services with a focus on ecologically and financially sustainable land management that will enhance natural processes (water and mineral cycles, energy flow and community dynamics) while enhancing profits and steadily building wealth.
